Who says Seattle is a Rainy City?

If you’re looking for a city that can be visited at any time of the year, it has to be Seattle in the USA which offers a great experience in outdoor fun and indoor entertainment regardless of the weather. Although it’s generally known as the rainy city, this is not always true because it has a mild climate and considered to be one of the most beautiful regions with the United States.  The Sea-Tac airport called the Green Gateway plays a major role in international trade and travel and is responsible for generating massive    business revenue to Seattle.

One of the most striking landmarks in Seattle is the Space Needle which was built for a World Fair in 1962 and from where you can have a magnificent view of the city.  A visit to its observation tower and a meal in its rotating restaurant will be an experience that will remain in your memory forever.  The Smith Cove Cruise Terminal which is a new addition to the city serves as a port for many celebrity cruises and is just a ten minute drive away from the Space Needle.

Visitors who wish to learn something about the city and its beginnings will be well rewarded with a visit to Pioneer Square which is the historic centre of Seattle. This is where the first pioneers settled down and is a very popular destination for tourists who can also make use of the innumerable cafes and galleries or take one of the Underground tours if they wish to discover the secrets that lie beneath the city. A section of the Klondike Gold rush National and Historic Park can also be accessed through   Pioneer Square by those who wish to explore its natural beauty.

Another not to be missed attraction   is the Seattle Waterfront which is the ideal spot to explore the many areas of entertainment made available.  A visit here will enable you to view the Seattle Aquarium, the Olympic Structure Park, Myrtle Edward Park as well as various shopping arcades, bars and restaurants or take a ride on the Ferris wheel which will provide you with a breathtaking view of the Seattle skyline.
