Tokyo a city like no other

Tokyo is the most populous metropolis in the world and the main gateway to Japan. It has millions visiting the city to experience its unique culture and more so to take in the magnificent temples, beautifully laid our parks and gardens, and take a ride in Tokyo’s very own bullet trains.  If you don’t have much time for sightseeing, make a point at least to the visit the Tokyo City Hall and its observation deck which will provide you with an unbelievable vista of this great city and also a stunning view of Mount Fuji.

Pay a visit to one of the city’s oldest temples called the Sensoji Temple or witness a wedding being celebrated in the gardens of the Meiji Jingu Shrine where you will be able to see Tokyo brides dressed in their gorgeous traditional costumes.  Try to fit in your visit during the cherry blossom season when a walk around the Tokyo Imperial Palace Gardens with its breathtaking scenery will be one of the highlights of your visit.

Never leave Tokyo without experiencing the gastronomic delights of the city where you can spend hours   sampling elaborately prepared sushi dishes or unbelievably expensive Matsutake mushroom displayed for your benefit.  Tokyo is also a high tech city of electronic gadgets and a visit to any of the showrooms will have gadget fans swooning with ecstasy over the huge range of items displayed. Fashion divas no doubt will be taken aback by the number of   stores dedicated to all forms of youthful fashion to cater to the unbelievably modern tastes of Tokyo’s fashion conscious.

If all that hustle and bustle of city life has made you weary, get away from the glass and tinsel of the city and head out to the mountains to take in the tranquil scenery of lush greenery and foliage that is sure to take your breath away.
